I had the pleasure of being invited to the launch event of Barbour’s new collection , created in collaboration with Alexa Chung , at the Liberty store . It was a fantastic experience that celebrated the innovative blend of classic design and modern style !
Alexa Chung , as the creative director , created a vintage-style collection that features wellington boots for the first time ! What’s especially cool is that she named the collection after her close friends and family , adding a personal touch . Having grown up wearing Barbour , her connection to the brand truly shines through in this collection . As Alexa mentioned , she wanted to capture the essence of the powerful and sophisticated women of the ‘90s in this collection , paying homage to their timeless style .
I’ve always admired Alexa’s effortlessly chic , classy and cool street style , it’s feminine with just the right touch of rock ‘n’ roll . Her go-to outfit is a jumper and jeans - my favorite kind of girl !
My sister accompanied me to this fabulous fashion event , where we enjoyed our drinks , shared lots of laughter and engaged in fascinating conversations with people from the industry . One important lesson we took away from the event was to always wear something that makes you feel cooler than you are - otherwise don’t buy it !
