Weekend in Monte Carlo

ree

Whether you're exploring the iconic Monte Carlo Casino , indulging in Michelin-star dining , or simply strolling along the palm-lined streets , this dazzling destination promises a taste of the good life . A stunning city known for its luxurious lifestyle !

Hotel Hermitage - A Veuve Clicquot pop-up bar greet you at the entrance here . The Crystal Bar is a cosy place to grab a finger-food snack and plenty of cocktails to choose from or vintage champagne .

Cafe de Paris - A trip to Casino Square isn’t complete without taking up a seat in the outside area and watching the buzz of the square . Elegant atmosphere and prime location .

Buddha - Bar - Elegant , glamorous , stunning all in one . Asian cuisine : Chinese , Japanese and Thai dishes . Late-night drinking and dancing .

Gaia Monaco - Greek inspired dishes . Greek salad , pita bread , Greek olive oil , Greek desserts and even Greek wine , the whole meal , invites you to travel ! Overpriced for the quality of food though ( Opa ! ) .

Le Bar Americain - An all time classic and luxury bar , providing an elegant low-key jazz ambiance . Very chic and sophisticated .

Port Hercule - A great walking spot , beautifully clean and picturesque with tons of enviable yachts lined up .

The Palace - Make your first stop the Prince’s Palace of Monaco’s spectacular cathedral , the final resting place of Monaco’s beloved Princess Grace . The nearby palace is still the official residence of the prince and his family . It’s been occupied by the Grimaldi family since the 13th century . A private collection of cars is also available for viewing .

Oceonographic Museum - It’s not only a large aquarium with beautiful fish . Here you can also stroke a live shark , enter the replica of a bathyscaphe and see the fantastic Monaco and Monte Carlo panorama from the room of the building .

Metropole Shopping Center - It’s all about luxury living , when you see it’s lavish furnishings of crystal chandeliers and Italian marble floors , with great selection of shops with amazing service and very friendly cafes with premium quality of food .

I enjoyed my first time in Monaco and everything was beyond glamorous . However , there was a lack of history and culture to the city which may detract from Monaco’s appeal for some people . If you crave a more enriching experience with a strong sense of heritage , you might want to explore other European cities or countries that offer a different kind of adventure . Don’t hesitate to ask me more information or recommendations !

Love ,
